About
Practice
I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst with a practice in NE Portland. I also work with via telehealth with patients in Oregon and California.
Psychoanalysis is an intensive form of psychotherapy designed to generate deep and long-lasting change. It is a creative, experiential process that often involves meeting multiple times per week, and can address a variety of struggles, including concerns with mood, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, direction and meaning in life.
Insurance
I am an in-network provider with several commercial insurance panels including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Moda, Aetna, and Cigna. For other plans, I can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement.
Consultation
I offer short or long-term consultation to therapists working with a psychodynamic/psychoanalytic approach. Please reach out via phone or email to discuss.
I have experience teaching in psychoanalytic psychotherapy training programs, continuing education classes, and psychiatry residency programs.
